Next Century offers a choice of comprehensive medical plans through CareFirst Blue Cross-Blue Shield to employees and their families. These plans include an HSA-based PPO, and a choice of a traditional or HSA-based HMO. Depending on the plan chosen, Next Century pays no less than 70% and up to 100% of the premiums and HSA contributions for chosen coverage by the employee.
Life Insurance |

The minimum guaranteed benefit is $100K (or 2 times annual salary; whichever is less). With medical underwriting approval the benefit can be increased to $200K (or 2 times annual salary; whichever is less). Next Century pays this premium in full.
Disability Programs |

Next Century provides both Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD) insurance benefits at no cost to the employee. As an added benefit, the LTD benefit will be tax free.
Flexible Spending Accounts |

Next Century offers Flexible Spending Accounts for vision, dental, and dependent care. Depending on the medical plan chosen, Healthcare Savings Accounts are also offered to employees. These accounts provide employees a way to pay for allowable expenses using tax-free dollars.
PLT/Holiday/Leave |

In addition to 6 fixed company paid holidays, Next Century employees begin accruing personal leave time (PLT) immediately on date of hire. Employees earn PLT based on experience in the industry (versus at the company). Either 22 or 27 days of PLT/year are earned depending on a 10-year experience threshold. At year end, employees have the option to carry over up to 80 hours of PLT and cash out up to 80 hours of PLT from their available balance. Other leave programs include bereavement, jury duty, and military leave.
Next Century offers the ability for all full-time employees to participate in the Company’s 401(k) plan. Employees may elect to contribute a portion of their base salary (subject to IRS restrictions) to a Traditional (pre-tax) or Roth (after-tax) plan. Based on financial performance, the company makes an annual contribution with no matching requirements to ALL our employees’ 401(k) accounts with immediate vesting.
